#MeToo Movement

Art by Aashish Kochhar

Even I had wished to say it before,

I wasn't a tissue to be 'used and throw'.

But the fear of embarrassment had held me tight,

For my people who couldn't hear this might.

But now when 'she too' had opened her mouth,

It's a duty of 'me too' to shout.

The profound courage she had shown,

It’s the duty of mine to open my mouth which the fear had blown.

Why didn't I appear for the years to be known?

Coz was deprived of the help which is today shown.

They say 'justice delayed is justice denied',

But I add 'justice should be justice till the crime is right'.
