Why Would I Choose
Why would I choose to
see the world from someone’s eyes?
How come some mouths
utter the same as ‘virtue’ and others as ‘vice’?
Here I’m standing in
this dark room with strangers all along,
All pretend to feel my
pain, but don’t tell the source of light to which I do belong.
I’m sinking in this
large ocean whose bottom I couldn’t see,
Which rescue boat should
I board that is just mend for me?
Although the rhythm is
melodious, I won’t sing it till the lyrics touch my heart,
Even though other’s
orchestra is annoying, I can’t still simply prefer your part.
What’s the fault if I
find a dark bolt in the purest of white?
I shall open my rusted
tongue and speak all to you, what’s there to hide?
Where would I choose to
live, I’m still a stranger to this earth and sky,
Can’t I rather be a bird
who would just explore the world and simply fly?
